Born in the spray of the Atlantic, on the Vendée coast, MX3 is the fruit of this passion for ocean adventure and eating well .
MX3 freeze-dried meals taking to the oceans
At the beginning of the 2000s, MX3 freeze-dried meals boarded the Vendée Globe monohulls and accompanied the skippers in crossing the “Everest of the seas” .
Beef bourguignon, Bolognese pasta and MX3 3 cheese fondues are the only fuel for these extreme expeditioners, embarked on a solo world tour. Eat to move forward, eat to perform : an intimate moment of comfort made possible by an ancestral and natural technology, that of freeze-drying . This process of removing water from a previously frozen product promises long-term storage , without compromising taste and nutritional value.
Throughout this perilous adventure lasting several weeks, water is the common denominator. Sometimes complicit, often hostile, it is a vital commodity on board, the only one capable of restoring consistency and flavor to ingredients, and instantly recreating gourmet recipes with high energy value .

In the wake of extreme sailors , MX3 draws its inspiration from the resources of the ocean to feed the athletes of tomorrow . Indoor or outdoor athletes , trailers tackling summits, road runners, the quest for performance punctuates everyone's objectives and remains the major leitmotif.
The training is then designed around an intimate conviction: to surpass oneself in order to achieve oneself . Draw on your physical and mental resources to challenge what exists and challenge your abilities : aim for a record, obtain a stopwatch, or simply shape your body. As on an IMOCA launched at 30 knots across the Pacific, MX3 guides the athlete in mastering the proper functioning of his body , before, during and recovering from an intense effort . Equipped with an R&D unit made up of scientific experts , MX3 designs nutritional plans adapted to the format and intensity of sports practice.

Sport and science: a winning combo made in France
The strength of MX3 ? Total control of the creative process , from formulation to manufacturing of products on its Vendée site in Les Sables d'Olonne . With an internalized R&D unit, the brand relies on experts in nutrition science as well as sports medicine to design premium nutritional solutions , as close as possible to the needs of athletes.
In 2022, a partnership will be created with Ultra Sport Science , a foundation leading research programs on pathologies linked to ultra endurance sports .
USS conducts scientific studies as close as possible to athletes, with the aim of helping them prepare and surpass themselves in complete safety. MX3 and USS then look at the gastrointestinal symptoms encountered during competitions and combine their knowledge in the development of MX3 Endurance , a range of energy and recovery bars and drinks, easily assimilated by the body during a intense effort.
